URGENT POOL MEETING 3/29

MARCH 29th 2-4p AT THE POOL PAVILION  Every year we are at risk of losing the pool property from lack of funds.  Dunaire has already lost part of the pool property due to unpaid property taxes.  Although the cost of running and maintaining the pool is on the rise we have many great ideas to ensure that the Dunaire pool remains a feature of our neighborhood, but we need your help!  We are currently gathering all the information we need to present to the neighborhood in order to have a clear picture of steps moving forward so we can keep our beautiful community pool, and keep it properly maintained for everyone to enjoy. Please join us to discuss our options and our plans moving forward! And in the meantime check out the new Dunaire Pool website for info, membership payments, and pavilion rental.

Meeting was supposed to be this Thursday at library on Covington highway but QT postponed. Will announce new date when I have it. Pool is in debt and we need to work up ways the make it pay for itself. If Dunaire does not maintain it the pool area will revert to the Dunn family. And we need someone to help with the pool maintenance. One man has been doing it alone for 2 years. Edee Heard has offered to step in as interim president of civic association and let Doug Yancey step back some. Thank you Doug and Edee. Discussed designing a new logo for Dunaire and and ways to reach the neighbors that do not belong to civic association. Amal and Rae have volunteered to work on that to get more notice of flyers and notices. we also will set up a Dunaire email address for ease of communication. Discussed briefly flock cameras on Brittan woods. No an...
